In total, in roughly 4 years, Kickstarter has poured a staggering $36,075,878.78 into music projects. Over the 10 categories that Kickstarter lists - Indie Rock, Rock, Country, Pop, Jazz, Classical, World, Hip Hop, and Electronic – Indie and Rock come out on top, raising over $6 and $5 million respectively. Classical, the object of my interest, has received a respectable $1.5 million.
